Blender add-on / Compositor + Geometry Nodes

FPV Feed

Make any render look like it came off a racing drone. Signal breakup, digital/analog recorder and a live flight OSD, with telemetry baked straight from your camera animation. Procedural, keyframable, one click to start.

Before / after

Same render. Now it was flown.

Drag the divider. The left side is the frame through FPV Feed with one preset and the OSD switched on, the right side is the plain Blender render.

Presets

Six looks, one click each.

Every preset sets all thirteen effects, the OSD style and the master controls at once, and always starts from the defaults, so nothing from the last look leaks in. Save your own as a preset file and share it.

Clean Digital FPV

Digital

A barely touched digital feed: light grain, a slight wide-angle lens.

Mild Analog Warmup

Analog

Gentle wobble, rare tears, colour bleed, a soft image and faint scanlines.

Unstable Signal

Analog

A weak link: strong wobble, frequent tearing, jitter, glitches and dropouts.

Uneven Digital Pixels

Digital

A digital link breaking up into uneven, jumping blocks.

Tactical Telemetry

Styled

A calm, desaturated picture with fine scanlines and a green tactical OSD.

Severe Recording Failure

Analog

Everything failing at once. Use it for the moment the signal dies.

Telemetry OSD

A real flight OSD, element by element.

The OSD is built from 21 procedural elements. Each one has its own position, scale, colour, outline, blink and shadow, and every number can be keyframed. Pick a layout to start from, then edit any element.

Effects

Thirteen effects, every one tweakable.

Signal effects bend the picture before it is sampled; recorder effects work on the finished image in display space, like a real camera. Each effect has its own strength and full settings, and an effect at zero costs no render time.

Also in the box: softness and sharpening, tone and contrast, and luma / chroma noise as separate effects.

BANDO / POWER LOOP + SHAFT DIVE
Flight bake

Animate the camera. The OSD flies with it.

One button keyframes every telemetry value from your camera animation, with quadcopter physics for throttle, current and voltage sag. The signal fades with distance and when terrain blocks the line of sight, and the look can follow it from clean to broken.

Built to behave

Safe in real projects.

FPV Feed sets itself up in one click and keeps your existing setup intact. When something needs your attention, Blender's status bar says what and how to fix it.

Getting Started checklist

Build, pick a source, a look, the intensity, a HUD layout, preview and render. Each step has its own button.

Keeps your compositor

A compositor the scene already had is kept, and one click puts it back together with your view settings.

Any source

Your scene render, a still, a numbered image sequence or a movie file. Footage of any shape is cropped to fill the frame.

Resolution independent

Sizes are set in pixels at 1080p or in percent of the height, so a look made at 720p looks the same at 4K.

Same frame, same image

Every effect is seeded and deterministic. Re-render a frame and you get exactly the same pixels.

Renders without the add-on

Everything is stored in the .blend, so files render on another machine or a farm without installing anything.
